Description of Significance THE H.L. KAUFMAN HOUSE, BUILT IN 1923, WAS THE THE BEST EXAMPLE OF MISSION/SPANISH COLONIAL REVIVAL STYLE ARCHITECTURE IN THE ENID AREA. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL TWO-STORY DWELLING FEATURING A LOW-PITCHED RED TILE HIP ROOF, ARCHED WINDOWS, IRON BALCONETS, AND A WHITE STUCCO FINISH. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 12/12/85. DEMOLISHED MAY 2005.
